Question on Crushing Claymore scaling. I'm using a STR build, and currently have a claymore +5 (basic). Currently at 22 STR to wield the purple shield. I keep coming across posts claiming that the crushing path is amazing, but looking at the planner even at 50 STR crushing +5 only offers 17 more damage than basic +10 (341 vs 324).. Pbsteve

If you find yourself in a drawn out fight where both parties are doing minor damage it can be a saving grace. Claymore can go Crushing and Blessed but flamberge cant. Flamberge can go Sharp and Crescent but Claymore cant.
